💬 ACCURX IS WHERE CONVERSATIONS HAPPEN WITH AND ABOUT PATIENTS. For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. We’re changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that connects everyone through communication. What started as a way for GPs to text a patient has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices. Our platform now powers Total Triage https://www.accurx.com/primary-care to manage patient demand, and Self-Book, https://www.accurx.com/booking which lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We’ve automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires https://www.accurx.com/questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail https://www.accurx.com/accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We’re now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe https://www.accurx.com/scribe, our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time. THE TEAM We are a mission-driven team of 80 engineers based in London and the surrounding areas, united by the challenge of fixing healthcare communication. We are innovating for the NHS at a scale and depth that has never been done before, solving the real-world problems that stand between millions of patients and the care they need. We are a highly cross-functional group where engineering, product, data, and security collaborate as true peers. We foster a low-ego, high-impact environment that values expertise and new ideas, maintaining the high standards required to build and scale a national healthcare communication platform. Within this ecosystem, our teams operate with high autonomy, owning everything from initial system design to long-term service stability. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of our Data Engineering, Product, and BI teams, expanding our data modelling and self-serve capabilities, and building the foundations that turn data from a support function into a strategic asset. CHALLENGES YOU'LL SOLVE… - You will own and evolve the presentation layer of our Snowflake data warehouse, modelling complex healthcare and health tech domains end-to-end using dbt. - You will design and build high-impact data models using advanced methodologies — translating real-world operational domains into scalable analytics blueprints that teams can trust. - You will partner closely with BI and Analytics teams to understand complex business requirements and deliver production-grade models that fuel actionable insights. - You will continuously improve data model performance and Snowflake warehouse design, prioritising compute efficiency, scalability, and a seamless experience for end users. - You will set, uphold, and scale standards for data quality, automated testing, and documentation within dbt — making our core data assets something the whole organisation can rely on. - You will champion self-serve analytics, training and empowering non-technical colleagues to confidently explore and leverage data through our BI tools. - You will mentor teammates, share advanced modelling knowledge, and contribute to a strong engineering culture through rigorous code reviews, sprint planning, and open collaboration. - You will support strategic data initiatives — collaborating across engineering teams to propose smart, scalable solutions and drive data infrastructure automation where it matters most. YOU SHOULD APPLY IF… - You have strong, proven experience as an Analytics Engineer within a modern data team, with advanced skills in SQL, Snowflake, and dbt (Core or Cloud). Experience with data ingestion tools like Fivetran or custom Python pipelines is a bonus. - You bring hands-on data modelling expertise, Dimensional Modelling, Star Schemas, Data Vault, or OBT, and know how to translate complex real-world domains into clean, scalable analytics blueprints. - You are comfortable working with cloud environments (specifically Azure), software engineering best practices like Git and CI/CD, and data governance frameworks including PII management and secure data access. - You have successfully driven self-serve analytics adoption across cross-functional teams, and can communicate complex technical architecture clearly to any stakeholder — from analysts to senior leadership. - You actively leverage AI tools to automate routine tasks and continuously explore ways to integrate AI into your workflows, improving quality and speed. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? You’ll join a high-performing team on a mission to solve healthcare productivity, building a platform used by around 300k NHS staff every week, supporting the care of over 50 million NHS patients every year. We set a high bar, move fast, and give people the ownership and support to do the best work of their careers - £85,000 - £105,000 salary, plus a discretionary recognition bonus for exceptional performance and impact, nominated by managers and awarded by our leadership team - Equity: £30,000 in equal share options, so you share in the value you help create - Benefits to suit you: adjust your healthcare cover, your pension or life insurance, whatever stage you’re at in life - Built for collaboration: We are an office-first culture and ask that you’re in our (dog-friendly) Shoreditch office for a minimum of 3 days a week - Close to our users: Regular hackathons, plus dedicated time to visit GP practices and other healthcare settings to see first-hand how our products are used - Time off: You’ll get 28 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and up to 4 weeks to work from anywhere per year - Support at home: We offer enhanced parental leave, fertility support and parental loss support - We have our very own chefs: Free healthy breakfasts, snacks and lunches, plus a weekly sweet treat
