ABOUT ANUVAYA LABS Anuvaya Labs is an AI research lab in New Delhi building general-purpose AI models for Bharat. We use sovereign data to build AI models that solve India-specific problems ABOUT THE STUDY We're conducting research studies with domain experts in various foundational fields. This gives us context about the problems practitioners in the field solve, their reasoning principles and delivery style among other benchmarks. This is a fully remote, 2-day study. Participants have to answer a questionnaire about their domain modeled on real frequently asked questions by clients and interact with team members posing as clients. WHAT THE TWO DAYS LOOK LIKE We build a customised questionnaire for each participant based on their experience and area of work, the questionnaire also includes interactive sections where members of our team step in and ask certain different questions to add more perspective. Sessions run for 8-9 hours a day with ample of breaks. No need for any advance preparation. What you'll need: a computer with a webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A bachelor's or master's degree in psychology or a related field - 5+ years in a client-facing role or in research, such as psychologist, counsellor, psychotherapist or psychology researcher - Comfortable explaining your reasoning in English, Hindi or another Indian language EXAMPLE SCENARIOS These are examples of the kind of questions you might be asked. Your actual questions will be tailored to your experience. - A 28-year-old software engineer in Pune says: "Every Sunday night I can't sleep. I dread going to work on Monday." What would you ask, and how would you respond? - A mother says her 16-year-old has stopped talking to the family and stays in his room all day. She asks how to reach him. - A newly married woman feels pressure from her in-laws to have a child soon and says she has no one to talk to about it. - A young man says his parents think therapy is only for people who are "mad", and he is unsure whether he should come at all. PAYMENT - Every participant is paid. The amount depends on your expertise and experience, and is agreed before confirmation of participation. - 30% is paid in advance once your participation is confirmed. - The remaining 70% is paid on Day 2, before the study ends. - All payments are made by bank transfer. HOW WE USE YOUR RESPONSES - Your responses are not used directly to train any AI model. Our researchers study how you reason and communicate to build an internal scorecard. - Recordings are stored securely and seen only by our research team. - We never sell or share recordings outside Anuvaya Labs. - Recordings are kept as part of our long-term research archive.
