Area Engineering Manager Warrington Contract (Inside IR35) or Permanent To lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team to: 🚀 Deliver the Stage 3 Define phase onwards in line with agreed project schedule and cost 🔧 Drive engineering teams to optimise the Stage 2 Appraise and select a single preferred solution, and produce a Stage 3 Preliminary Design 🛡️ Complete preliminary design assurance activities in line with the agreed Risk-Based Assurance Strategy 🧰 Act as AEM, leading multidiscipline teams responsible for estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and producing agreed design deliverables 📑 Manage the DSA teams in the production of deliverables 👥 Identify and allocate additional resource demand where required to ensure all deliverables can be originated and checked in accordance with project schedule dates 🔗 Interface with other Project Discipline Leads within the project(s) 🤝 Engage and interface with site clients and stakeholders 📅 Support the production of Stage 4 delivery estimates and schedule, with input into the commercial engagement of suppliers in the Define phase 🤝 Work collaboratively with the fully integrated project team—including construction, commissioning, pre-ops, human factors, and client stakeholders—to ensure functional requirements are met (Constructability, Commissionability, HAZCON, conventional safety, environmental)
