ABOUT YOUR ROLE: The Planning Specialist prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, especially in Planning. The individual prepares forecasts, analyzes trends related to Planning and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data and/or ensure efficiency. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Analyze and plan material needs to maintain optimal inventory levels. - Monitor reorder points to ensure timely stock replenishment. - Daily review to release PR/PO. - Work with GPD and Sales to identify risks related to material changes and address inventory reserves. - Plan and manage material movement in coordination with purchasing, warehousing, and production, including negotiating lead times with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, ETA update for PD confirmation. - Working with Sales/Finance to analyze forecast abnormalities. - Cooperating with material planner in other AD sites (and global supply chain team) to share/buying excess stock. - Provide information to determine status of current orders and to forecast needs.
