Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a tech-savvy IT Support & Systems Administrator based in Helsinki to join our lean and dynamic internal IT Operations team. This role combines hands-on frontline support with long-term systems administration, offering a structured environment to expand your technical capabilities across global infrastructure, networking, and cloud tools. You do not need to be an expert in every area on day one. If you bring core strengths in end-user support, workstation troubleshooting, networking basics, Google Workspace, or a knack for automation, we will provide the platform and mentorship to develop the rest. You will start by delivering Tier 1/2 support to our global team while managing local and remote laptop logistics. Simultaneously, you will implement AI tools, support bots, and automated HubSpot workflows to streamline routine tasks—freeing your bandwidth to step up into Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, systems and network administration, MDM management, and ISO27001/SOC2 compliance operations. Key Responsibilities 1. End-User Support & IT Logistics (Primary Focus) Hands-on Support: Deliver friendly, responsive Tier 1/2 remote and local support across our global user base, troubleshooting workstations, network connectivity, software access, and hardware setups. Support Automation: Test, deploy, and refine AI support bots, self-service wikis, and automated workflows to resolve routine support requests automatically. Global Logistics: Prepare, configure, image, and ship laptops (primarily macOS with some Windows endpoints) and peripherals for team members across our global hubs. 2. Workstation Fleet & Cloud Administration Fleet Management: Administer workstation deployment, patch updates, security policies, and asset tracking using modern MDM tools across our laptop fleet. Google Workspace & Cloud Admin: Manage daily user accounts, groups, permissions, shared drives, and security settings within Google Workspace, while assisting with secondary Microsoft 365 tools in the environment. Identity & Access Management: Configure and maintain single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and automated user provisioning across corporate SaaS tools. 3. AI, HubSpot & IT Workflow Automation HubSpot IT Operations: Participate in expanding our internal IT ticketing, asset management, and compliance workflows built directly inside HubSpot. Workflow Automation: Streamline manual administrative tasks (account provisioning, offboarding, inventory updates) using cloud automation tools, Google Apps Script, Power Automate, or API integrations. 4. Infrastructure, Network & Security Operations (Growth Area) Network & Infrastructure Operations: Apply and expand your network troubleshooting skills (Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, cloud connectivity) while serving as an internal resource alongside external network partners. Compliance & SOC2 Readiness: Support day-to-day operations for our ISO27001 certification and upcoming SOC2 audit readiness, monitoring fleet security baselines and collecting audit evidence. Security Operations: Learn endpoint security best practices, patch management, and guided incident response protocols using established internal playbooks. Bring your core strengths, and we will help you build the rest. We encourage applications from motivated junior to early-mid candidates who match several of the following areas: Support Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or tech operations (or a strong technical academic background). Workstation & OS: Practical hands-on experience supporting workstation hardware and operating systems (macOS and/or Windows). Networking Fundamentals: Foundational understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi topology, VPNs, basic firewall management). Cloud & Identity: Familiarity with Google Workspace or basic Microsoft 365 administration, along with awareness of identity systems (SSO/MFA). AI & Automation Mindset: Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for using AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) and lightweight automation to streamline repetitive work. Compliance Curiosity: A structured, detail-oriented mindset with an interest in learning enterprise compliance frameworks (ISO27001 and SOC2). Languages: Professional working proficiency in English; Finnish or Swedish language skills are a helpful advantage for local office support. Clear Career Trajectory: A structured path to transition from frontline support into systems administration, network management, automation engineering, and compliance operations. Pioneering Tech Stack: Learn a unique, highly in-demand skillset by building out internal IT infrastructure and compliance directly inside HubSpot using AI workflows. Flexible Work Culture: Hybrid setup from our Helsinki office, joining an international, supportive, and asynchronous team. Benefits & Perks: Comprehensive Nordic health/wellness packages, lunch/wellness benefits, tech gear allowance, and support for technical certifications and training.
