ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Facilities Maintenance Manager at BURGA, you’ll take ownership of the infrastructure that keeps our fast-growing manufacturing environment running smoothly. From managing building systems and contractors to leading renovation and infrastructure projects, you’ll be the person making sure our spaces, systems, and facilities work as they should.

Your Role: You’ll oversee building infrastructure and maintenance projects, manage contractors and defects, and ensure that technical documentation and building systems are properly maintained. You’ll work with everything from HVAC and BMS to electrical and low-voltage systems, while also taking the lead on infrastructure and renovation initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Independently lead infrastructure, renovation, and facility improvement projects from scope definition through completion and handover.
  • Manage contractors and subcontractors, including work scopes, commercial proposals, timelines, quality, and delivery.
  • Coordinate and resolve building defects and warranty-related issues together with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee building systems, including HVAC, BMS, electrical, and low-voltage systems.
  • Prepare technical scopes of work, evaluate contractor proposals, and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Read, interpret, and, when needed, modify technical drawings and plans using 2D/3D CAD tools.
  • Maintain and administer building drawings, technical documentation, system records, and facility registers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the functionality, efficiency, and ergonomics of BURGA’s facilities.
  • Take ownership of key infrastructure initiatives, including the expansion of the waste container area and the development of the Vilnius facilities register.
  • Build a structured subcontractor management system that provides clear visibility of work orders, responsibilities, deadlines, and completion status.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-4+ years of experience in facilities management, building management, construction/renovation project management, or technical infrastructure.
  • Engineering education and a solid understanding of HVAC, BMS, electrical, and low-voltage systems.
  • Strong CAD skills and the ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings and plans.
  • Experience defining technical scopes of work, evaluating contractor proposals, and managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Hands-on experience managing contractors and subcontractors throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a high level of ownership.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to independently drive projects from problem to solution.
