You can judge whether a workflow is good for its users and also build it yourself. A product-only background is not enough. - Hands-on engineering: you write code and scripts, work with GitHub, CI/CD and APIs, and can debug integrations. - Process ownership: you have designed and changed a product or engineering process in a software company with 100+ engineers. - Practical AI agent experience: you have built agents or agentic workflows that do real work, not only tried them. - Cross-team influence: you get Product, Engineering and leadership to agree on one way of working.
