About the Role: We’re looking for reliable and motivated Walker Delivery Associates to join our team! You’ll be responsible for delivering packages safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position. Job Description: Capital Shipping is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors. Walker Delivery Associate shifts range between 8-10 hours per dayand shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4 days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Responsibilities: Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions. Deliver packages (Weighing up to 50 lbs) to customers on time and with care. Follow all company safety policies and traffic lawsthroughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport, and delivery. Operate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using apps. Contact the customers, when necessary, in order todeliver their packages in a safe location and follow their direction. Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.
