This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through assessment of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include providing clinical supervision to support staff and students. Responsible for other related duties as required. Program Summary: EQuaL (Enabling Quality of Life) – for adults aged 18 to 64 who have disabilities related to a disease or condition, such as
multiple sclerosis or a brain injury, currently requiring the full-time support of a continuing care centre. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy.
- Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required.
- AADL authorizer is an asset.
- Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset. New grads and physiotherapist interns welcome.
