What You’ll Be Doing Lead and mentor a team of Environmental Health Officers, fostering professional growth, consistent decision-making in a high-performance team culture. Collaborate with fellow Senior Environmental Health Officers to deliver team objectives and, when required act in the Coordinator role. Coordinate the inspection and surveillance program for statutory premises, as well as complaint response and investigations, prioritised according to public health risk. Oversee technical assessments, compliance activities and enforcement actions in accordance with relevant public and environmental health legislation. Contribute to the review, development and continuous improvement of operational procedures, systems and service delivery practices. Support the delivery of operational priorities, projects, business plans and strategic initiatives, while proactively responding to emerging public health issues and regulatory change.
