This position is primarily responsible for ensuring original loan documents are received from title companies and closing agents, accurately logged and tracked, delivered to the Company's document custodian, and maintained in accordance with Company, custodian, warehouse lender, and investor requirements. The Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring and clearing document custodian exceptions, obtaining trailing documents, and coordinating the movement of original collateral in connection with loan sales and other financing transactions. This is an operational, detail-intensive role that requires strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage a high volume of loans and outstanding document items simultaneously.
