Helps maintain a safe environment by reporting any issues or concerns and giving associates feedback on safety adherence. Serves as primary trainer for the line including providing hands on training, document reviews and signoffs. Introduces new associates to co-workers, Team Lead, and Manager. Communicates with team members, including Team Leads and Production Managers, to develop teamwork in the trainees. Trains from detailed instructions such as Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and Customer Orders. Mentors trainees on work practices, rules, and norms required to successfully integrate into the Moen team. Responds patiently to questions. Assists trainees in contacting resources for assistance during onboarding. Evaluates and provides accurate input to Production Managers concerning the ability of trainees to perform successfully. Provides required reports on a timely basis. Reports any concerns with the line such as but not limited to lack of materials, equipment issues, maintenance needs, product concerns, personnel issues, etc., to the Team Lead or Supervisor for the area. Responsible for other duties as assigned.
