The position is in the Data Platform Engineering team, which is helping our customers engineer smart and well-informed decisions, by harvesting the power of diverse and well-curated healthcare data, at scale. Responsibilities - Design, develop, deploy, test, support technical solutions using Java full-stack development tools and technologies - Design and develop user friendly, responsive web interfaces using modern web application frameworks - Utilize programming languages like Java, SQL, Python (for the backend) and JavaScript, HTML/CSS (for the frontend) - Should have expert level knowledge in RDBMS/SQL and NoSQL databases - Deploy the micro services seamlessly using Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS managed services and tools - Adept at troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues - Should be a team player and excel in fast-paced agile environments - Expecting a fast learner by keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in backend and front-end development. Preferred Qualifications: One of the following degrees (preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Electronics or Electrical Engineering): - Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Master of Technology (MTech) or - Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Sciences (MS) or - Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Preferred Skills (Must Have): - 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Java development - 5+ Years experience with Angular - Extensive experience in SQL and NoSQL technologies - Demonstrated experience in Caching, queuing, scheduling, concurrent and event-driven architectures - Demonstrated experience of developing applications on/for Linux platforms - Should have proven track record of implementing distributed systems and microservice architectures (RESTful APIs) - Involved knowledge of best practices for implementing secure web applications - Strong experience with AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, GCP and/or other clouds - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment techniques Nice to have skills: - Experience in data pipelines would be an added advantage. - Experience in Big Data technologies like Snowflake, Datastax would be a plus This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3).
