The beat will also require coverage of foreign direct investment, outbound investment, and national security review processes. This is an exciting opportunity to cover global high-profile transactions. Developing a strong contact book of domestic and international sources will be essential for the reporter, through calls and attending both domestic and international events. The role will be based in Beijing or Shanghai, and require domestic and international travel. As part of the global M&A team, they will work closely with our Dealreporter and PaRR publication reporters around the world to break market-moving scoops and deliver exclusive insights to our audience.
