Become Europe's most-used legal product. The role You’ll partner a group of teams across Lexroom and report to our Head of People. Your managers will bring you their hardest people questions: how to grow their teams, keep their best people, handle difficult conversations, pay fairly, and organise their teams as they scale. Every Lexroom employee has two People contacts. People Operations takes care of contracts, payroll and admin. You take care of everything about managing, growing and keeping people. We’re also running our core HR cycles for the first time, so you’ll help design them as well as run them. What you’ll do - Own the people agenda for your client group - Run performance, engagement, compensation and promotion cycles, and help improve how we run them - Shape how your teams are organised as they grow: structures, roles, reporting lines, reorgs - Coach managers on their teams and on difficult conversations - Handle employee relations, from probation reviews to disciplinary matters - Give Talent Acquisition and People Operations the business context they need to do their job well - Turn what you see and hear into clear insights for the Head of People and leadership Things we really care about - You understand the business before you advise on its people: what each team does and what makes someone great in their role - You close problems. Managers bring them to you, and you get them handled - You read people and situations well, and you think before you act on sensitive topics - Managers trust you because your advice is clear, you push back when needed and you follow through - Shifting priorities and grey areas don’t stress you out, and you keep your sense of humour What you bring - 4+ years in HR, including at least 1 as an HR or People Business Partner with your own client group - Performance and compensation cycles run end to end - Hands-on employee relations experience and a working knowledge of Italian labour law - Comfort using AI tools in your daily work - Fluent Italian and English Nice to have - A background in Talent Acquisition or People Operations before business partnering - Experience partnering sales or commercial teams - Org design or reorganisation experience - Client groups in more than one country - Other European languages What we offer - Salary: €45,000–65,000 gross per year, depending on experience and level - Hybrid work: at least three days a week in our Milan HQ, with flexibility - Meal vouchers: €7 per working day - Welfare budget: €600 per year, via Satispay - Team retreats and off-sites: time to connect and work together - Growth: direct work with the Head of People and the leadership team, in a role that grows as Lexroom grows Our process 1.
