Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS) is a brand of PNED G.I.E. an organisation created by the Luxembourg Government, to implement Luxembourg’s strategies in research, innovation, and digitalisation. Through efficient & responsible use of data and improving the secondary use of data, LNDS will support the acceleration of economic, ecological, and societal transitions. www.lnds.lu | LNDS on LinkedIn HDAB-LU: This 4-year project, which started in January 2024, aims to develop and deploy the Health Data Access Body of Luxembourg, which is the national authority responsible for granting access to health data for secondary use as set out in The European Data Governance Act (DGA) and the European Health Data Space (EHDS). Its general objective is to enable Luxembourg to establish and deploy services for its HDAB, at minimum: processing and management of data access applications, supporting secure processing of health data by data users, making sure that they are well integrated in the EHDS, establishing and aligning with EU standards, and providing cross-border connections for large-scale deployment of HealthData@EU based on the work conducted by the joint action TEHDaS. As an IT Infra Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company’s infrastructure. You will work closely with the technology team to deliver high-quality services to the HDAB's end users, including data applicants and data users seeking access to health data for secondary use. In addition, you will monitor and report on performance quality metrics and support internal and external stakeholders, including national partners and EHDS/HealthData@EU counterparts, in resolving issues. Help in the architecture, deployment, and improvement of cloud environments, as well as other IT infrastructures needed for the company to operate. Collaborate across teams to transform business needs focused on public sector data secondary use into secure and relevant deployments. Implement and ensure that the disaster recovery strategy is followed. Evaluate and deploy new technologies and tools to keep the infrastructure relevant. Assist to manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in place. Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking using different configuration management tools. Implement effective monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, architectural diagrams, and compliance reports.
