Masdar (Project Delivery team) is seeking a HSSE Manager who will be responsible for all HSSE matters and performance of Mega project in Azerbaijan and other potential projects in Azerbaijan. The HSSE Manager shall coordinate with the Regional HSSE manager and the Country Social Manager to ensure timely implementation and reporting of HSSE at project level. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are carried out to a high standard in accordance with Masdar requirements and are transparent and supported by appropriate documentation. The HSSE Manager will also be responsible for the supervision, audit and support for the implementation of the HSSE Management System across project sites, and for supporting Projects during external audits and reporting to key stakeholders. The role is for a large scale project in Azerbaijan and will be located in Bilasuvar. Responsibilities not limited to; Lead the implementation of the project c-HSSE. Focal Point for all HSSE issues including environmental, safety, security, and social issues. Maintains and updates HSSE rules, regulations and guidelines, local/international requirements as applicable to the project. Advises project team on legislative changes concerning HSSE which may affect the Project. Develop, maintains & monitors the HSSE plans. Reviews and approves all EPC Contractors’ and subcontractors’ HSSE plans as required. Reviews non-compliance and ensures that these are adequately closed out as per the agreed timeline. Ensures the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions. Plan, initiate and direct the development and communication of Masdar’s HSSE Policy, SSE strategic objectives and necessary reference manuals. Provide advice, guidance, support and assistance on all issues related to development and implementation of the HSSE program, standards, procedures, regulations, policies, objectives and emergency response. Plan and direct reviews of new projects to identify the HSE requirements (e.g. HSEIA, HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN, QRA, Fire Detection & Protection Systems etc.). Manage liaison with specialists as required and Supervise EPC project teams in managing HSSE matters to complete work in line with standards and requirements. Liaise with technical, social manager and social supervisor/CLO, to ensure compliance to all HSSE matters.
