Summary Marketing Intern assists the marketing department in their advertising and promotional efforts. Their main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned 1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities(e.g. social media, direct mail and web) Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability Support marketing team at live and online event Marketing Orders – Follow-ups with vendors, shipping, and payment verification. Literature and Marketing Promotional – Coordinate sending out materials to field sales Communication – assist Marketing Manager in inter-company, internal and external communications. Communicating with the plants about the goals and accomplishments from the field and organize marketing events
