Operate and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and conventional machining equipment to produce precision components according to specifications Read, interpret, and analyze technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and tolerances Perform precision machining operations on various materials, ensuring components meet exact specifications and quality standards Conduct thorough quality inspections and measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machine tools to ensure optimal performance and accuracy Optimize machining processes and tool selection to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity Maintain detailed production records, work logs, and documentation for traceability and quality assurance purposes Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards to maintain a secure work environment
