Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow ergonomic and safe lifting techniques. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.   Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities ( Other duties may be assigned.) Follow Supervisor/Team Lead instructions for setups and tooling. Conduct pre-shift inspections, start machines, and perform first part inspections. Learn and follow all the work instructions. Measure dimensions of finished workpieces using precision instruments. Operate machines efficiently and safely. Mount, install, align, and secure tools and fixtures under supervision. Make minor fixture adjustments under supervision. Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or change tooling/setup. Ensure proper lubrication and cooling of workpieces. Verify and record first part inspections. Insert control instructions into machine control units. Listen for issues during operations and make adjustments. Replace dull cutting tools. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
