Warehouse Specialist (Mandan)

<p>Mandan Northwest Pipe Fittings, a locally owned, independent wholesale distributor, is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for our Warehouse Specialist position. We serve a five-state region with a commitment to service, product expertise, and inventory. Our ultimate goal is to save our customers time and resources. We distribute a wide range of products including plumbing, hydronic heating, utility, waterworks, water well, irrigation, filtration, and metering technology products and systems. <h2>Compensation</h2>

<p>The position offers a base pay of <strong>$15-17/hour</strong>.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>

<ul>

<li>Deliver product to other stores or contractors</li>

<li>Receive and unload products from suppliers daily</li>

<li>Cycle count inventory as scheduled</li>

<li>Pick orders identified as Will Call</li>

<li>Pick orders for shipping</li>

<li>Match non-stock pick tickets with products</li>

<li>Put received stock away</li>

<li>Assist customers at the sales counter upon request; may include carrying merchandise to customer vehicles</li>

<li>Clean/organize/stock assigned area; may include backing up other co-workers</li>

<li>Assist in stock rotation</li>

<li>Assist clean/organize yard as required</li>

<li>Assist in the maintenance of all company vehicles and property</li>

<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

</ul>

<p>This is an hourly position with typical hours of work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.  Flexibility of hours is required based on business necessity. </p>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>

<ul>

<li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>

<li>At least 1 year of similar experience </li>

<li>1 year of similar experience (i.e. warehouse experience)</li>

<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>

<li>Prior experience in a wholesale plumbing supply or similar industry.preferred</li>

<li>Valid Driver’s License required.</li>

<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>

<li>Teamwork oriented with a friendly and positive attitude.</li>

<li>Professional and neat in appearance.</li>
