This position is responsible for supervising hourly operations technicians. The supervisor must be able to focus on safety, environmental compliance, asset protection, and production simultaneously. This is a hands-on supervisor role responsible for managing operations activities, which includes, but may not be limited to all of the gold processing facilities, tailing systems and water systems. This supervisor will interact with many different work groups and departments and must be able to work well with others. Actively drive HGM’s behavior-based safety and environmental stewardship culture. Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations crew Collaboration with other departments when needed Provide training and mentoring for operators Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while working collaboratively within the framework of the site team and company enterprise Conduct individual employee evaluations Update employee training records and status upgrades Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to ensure equipment is utilized to its optimum extent Perform medium-user duties including: Success Factors Time entry and approval, Pronto (CMMS), work requests, warehouse requests, Support of Process “Our Safe Behaviors” program Perform other duties as assigned
