<p>To build our Payment services, we got technical cooperation from Paytm (A large payment service company in India). And based on their customer-first technologies , we created and expanded the smartphone payment service in Japan. Therefore, we have decided to establish a development base in India, because it is a major IT country with many talented engineers, as evidenced by the fact that cutting-edge mobile payments can continue to be generated.</p>

<p>PayPay India  is looking for a Senior Backend engineer to work on our payment system to deliver the best payment experience for our customers.</p>

<h3>Main Responsibilities</h3>

<li>Design large scale systems with high complexity to support our high throughput applications.</li>

<li>Understand how to leverage infrastructure for solving such large scale problems.</li>

<li>Develop tools and contribute to open source wherever possible.</li>

<li>Adopt problem solving as a way of life – always go to root cause! Support the code you write in production.</li>

<h3>Qualifications</h3>

<ul>

<li>6+ years of experience having excellent skills in Java & any other generalized programming language, such as Scala, Python, or Go.</li>

<li>Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.</li>

<li>Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with distributed cache.</li>

<li>Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and object oriented programming.</li>

<li>In-depth understanding of concurrency and distributed computing.</li>

<li>Experience implementing platform components such as RESTful APIs, Pub/Sub Systems, and Database Clients.</li>

<li>Experience with microservices.</li>

<li>Experience designing high traffic systems.</li>

<li>Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience in SaaS platform development.</li>

<li>Business of English or Japanese　</li>

<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
