As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will build and improve the services that process real time outage data for enterprise customers. You will design and ship backend features, write Python code, build and maintain services, analyze data, troubleshoot production issues, and improve the software and operational stack. This is a hands on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and owning meaningful pieces of a production system. Responsibilities include: • Design, build, and ship backend features and services. • Write and maintain backend Python code. • Build and maintain services that communicate through APIs and message queues. • Work with real time outage data and data intensive systems. • Identify and implement improvements across the software and operational stacks. • Investigate, debug, and resolve production issues. • Perform detailed data analysis and build reports. • Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews. • Write tests and documentation for the systems you build.
