<h4>The Position:</h4>

<p>As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Placements.io, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge advertising technology platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust and scalable solutions that empower our clients in the digital advertising industry. This role is hybrid, with three days per week based in our Taipei office.</p>

<div class="p-rich_text_section">The Engineering team at Placements tackles a variety of challenges, including big data problems, perfecting the user experience, service scalability, reliability, and AI-powered optimization. <p class="" data-start="2074" data-end="2205">Develop and maintain features for Placements.io’s advertising technology platform, covering both frontend and backend components.</p>

<p class="" data-start="2208" data-end="2348">Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.</p>

<p class="" data-start="2351" data-end="2442">Build efficient, scalable, and secure code following best practices and coding standards.</p>

<p class="" data-start="2445" data-end="2552">Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensure optimal system performance and stability.</p>

<p class="" data-start="2555" data-end="2677">Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, provide feedback, and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.</p>

<p class="" data-start="3187" data-end="3331">Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in web development, including AI/ML applications in software development.</p>

<p class="" data-start="3361" data-end="3455">Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</p>

<p class="" data-start="3458" data-end="3571">Solid experience as a Fullstack Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced startup or technology-focused environment.</p>

</li>

<li class="" data-start="3572" data-end="3710">

<p class="" data-start="3574" data-end="3710">Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks/libraries like React.js, Angular, or Antd.</p>

</li>

<li class="" data-start="3711" data-end="3803">

<p class="" data-start="3713" data-end="3803">Strong understanding of backend technologies and frameworks – Ruby on Rails is an asset.</p>

</li>

<li class="" data-start="3804" data-end="3865">

<p class="" data-start="3806" data-end="3865">Experience with server-side development and RESTful APIs.</p>

</li>

<li class="" data-start="3866" data-end="3919">

<p class="" data-start="3868" data-end="3919">Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL.</p>

<p class="" data-start="3922" data-end="4008">Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Heroku, AWS, or Google Cloud.</p>

<li class="" data-start="4009" data-end="4158">

<p class="" data-start="4011" data-end="4158">Experience working with or integrating AI/ML technologies is a strong plus (e.g., recommendation systems, predictive analytics, data enrichment).</p>

</li>

<p class="" data-start="4161" data-end="4273">Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.</p>

</li>

<p class="" data-start="4276" data-end="4403">Experience with version control systems like Git and proficiency in using related collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).</p>

<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>

<p>The total annual remuneration (including salary, bonus and other benefits) range for this role is<br>$1.7 - $2.0 MM TWD, depending on the candidate’s capabilities and experiences.</p>
