because we care passionately about helping people lead healthier lives. Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports
the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates, which operate non-profit health centers
across the U.S. PPFA also works to educate the public on and advocate for issues of sexual and
reproductive health. Formed as the advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America,
Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a separate non-profit membership organization tax-exempt under
section 501(c)(4). The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and limited electoral activity,
including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education in furtherance of the Planned
Parenthood mission. Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Federation Fundraising. The SVP reports to Chief Development Officer (CDO) Leora Hanser in the Development division of PPFA. This leader oversees the Federation Fundraising team, the primary engine for unifying national and local fundraising efforts and partnering with affiliates to maximize fundraising opportunities in service of Planned Parenthood’s mission. The SVP is a newly created role reflecting two strategic priorities: significantly growing Planned Parenthood's fundraising through direct response and digital marketing channels, and reimagining collaborative fundraising across the federation to achieve efficiencies and deliver greater, more consistent value to affiliates of various sizes. The SVP leads a team of approximately 50 professionals. This leader will be a key thought partner to the CDO in envisioning the future of federation fundraising at Planned Parenthood, architecting a new, more integrated model that expands revenue and enables effective fundraising practices within the federation, allowing greater investments for providing access to high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care.
