We are looking for an Innovation Consultant to join our Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyles and Places team in Spain, with a particular focus on sustainable energy and infrastructure. Our team works at the intersection of sustainability, the built environment, materials, communities and innovation. We are now looking to strengthen our expertise in energy, infrastructure and sustainable systems, supporting organisations in developing ambitious European R&D&I projects. This is an opportunity for a consultant with a technical background and experience in European funding to contribute to meaningful projects while helping shape the team's growing capabilities. Your mission will be to help organisations transform technological and sustainability challenges into competitive European funding proposals, particularly within Horizon Europe. You will combine technical understanding, proposal development and strategic consulting to support projects addressing sustainable infrastructure, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, innovative materials and the built environment. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will also contribute to identifying new opportunities and expanding our activities into funding instruments such as the Innovation Fund and Connecting Europe Facility. Develop and coordinate competitive European R&D&I funding proposals, primarily under Horizon Europe. Contribute to projects primarily within Horizon Europe Clusters 4 and 5 and the New European Bauhaus, while supporting relevant cross-sectoral opportunities under Cluster 6 and other European initiatives. Translate complex technical concepts and innovation strategies into compelling, well-structured funding applications. Advise clients on European funding opportunities, project positioning and proposal development strategies.
