Curative Landman - Oklahoma City, OK [Remote]

The Curative Landman - Oklahoma City, OK [Remote] position at Purple Land Management in Oklahoma City, OK is a full time - 1099 role. We are seeking an experienced curative landman for an active title curative project covering multiple drilling and spacing units in western Oklahoma (Roger Mills and Ellis Counties, OK). You’ll receive assigned requirements from division order title opinions and own them to closure. That means determining what each requirement is actually asking for, locating the people who have to act on it, contacting them directly, drafting the instrument, and getting it executed and recorded. Much of this work is independent and calls for sound judgment, because the owners you're contacting are usually not in this business and the records you're working from are often incomplete. You'll have a supervising landman to escalate to, and you're expected to recognize when a situation needs that.
