<h1><strong>What’s the opportunity?</strong></h1>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join an AI forward accounting team, reporting directly to the Controller. You’ll have the ability to showcase your strong background in accounting and own a large part of the accounting functions with a focus on AI enablement. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, and has experience working within a varied accounting tech stack, such Rillet, Ramp and Maxio.&nbsp;</p>
<h1><strong>What will I be doing?</strong></h1>
<ul>
<li>Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations during&nbsp; monthly close</li>
<li>Recording transactions in Rillet</li>
<li>Manage Ramp for AP, corporate cards, and employee reimbursements</li>
<li>Manage revenue (ASC 606)</li>
<li>Using AI to improve processes, gain efficiency and analyze data&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Document processes for key accounting functions</li>
<li>Billing customers and managing subscriptions in billing system (Maxio)</li>
<li>Assist with customer collections&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responding to information requests and assisting with audits, as needed</li>
<li>Assisting with other projects, as needed</li>
</ul>
<h1><strong>What skills do I need?</strong></h1>
<ul>
<li>3-5&nbsp; years of progressive accounting experience</li>
<li>SaaS industry experience (must have), ideally at a high growth startup (a plus)</li>
<li>Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices</li>
<li>Advanced in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of CRM software platforms (Salesforce &amp; DealHub) (a plus)</li>
<li>Proven track record of using AI in your daily work</li>
<li>Proactive, self-sufficient, and organized</li>
<li>Meeting processing and reporting deadlines</li>
<li>Strong priority management skills</li>
<li>Experience working in a Subscription Billing Software&nbsp;</li>
