Job Description

Privacy shouldn't be a privilege reserved for the tech-savvy. At Ironwall, we remove people's private data from the places it doesn't belong - helping businesses and public sector teams shrink their employees' exposure and keep their identities their own. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team building it. This is people leadership and technical judgment in equal measure: you'll grow engineers, shape architecture, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product to ship things that matter. IF YOU WANT TO: - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, and hire the next great ones; - Guide architecture and technical decisions alongside your senior engineers; - Build a product that's secure, scalable, and genuinely maintainable; - Balance shipping features with paying down technical debt and keeping the service reliable; - Partner with Product and stakeholders to set priorities and shape the roadmap; - Turn business needs into clear engineering work — and be honest about the trade-offs; - Give regular feedback and help people build the careers they want. AND YOU CAN CHECK OFF: - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers; - Foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning; - Proven experience of building production systems, with the depth to weigh in on architecture; - Proven experience of leading engineering teams in a product environment; - A track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing engineers; - Comfort working across teams — Product, Design, and the business alike; - The judgment to balance technical excellence with getting things out the door; - Clear communication and a habit of making the team a little better each week. BONUS POINTS IF YOU: - Have built B2B SaaS products before; - Know your way around cybersecurity, privacy, or data protection; - Have scaled engineering teams or distributed systems. HERE’S THE DEAL: - Growth and learning opportunities: time dedicated to learning, conferences, online learning platforms, and books for your professional development; - Health and wellness: we want you to feel and be your best. That's why we offer various benefits, from online workouts and a physical coach to health insurance and regular mental health checks; - Tools of your choice: choose the technical equipment and tools you need to do your best work; - Community and celebrations: get ready for long-lasting traditions such as yearly workation, Friday get-togethers, various team buildings and company celebrations; - Work-life balance: We encourage working in the office, with the possibility of up to two remote days per week. Plus, with our WFA policy, you can work from almost anywhere in the world; - More days off: additional vacation days depending on your tenure; - Premium Surfshark accounts: for you, your family, and friends; - Gross salary: 7150 - 8100 Eur/month for the Lithuanian market, 32500-36800 PLN/month for the Polish market. . Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
