Terra Localizations is expanding its global network of freelance Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) testers for current and future video game localization projects. We partner with AAA and indie studios to support the development, launch, and expansion of games worldwide. Languages we’re recruiting for We’re looking for testers with native-level fluency in one of the following languages: - Arabic - Brazilian Portuguese - Simplified Chinese - Traditional Chinese - French - German - Indonesian - Italian - Japanese - Korean - Polish - Russian - European Spanish - Latin American Spanish - Thai - Turkish - Vietnamese About the role As a Freelance LQA tester, you’ll help ensure the linguistic quality and overall player experience of localized games. You’ll review content in-game, identify linguistic and localization issues, and report and track bugs throughout the testing process. This is a freelance opportunity. Assignments, schedules, and work arrangements will depend on each project’s requirements and your availability. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in localization QA, preferably in the gaming industry. - Native-level fluency in the target language. - Strong English skills to understand instructions, write bug reports, and communicate with the project team. - Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools. - Ability to follow testing procedures and meet agreed deadlines. - A passion for video games and familiarity with gaming terminology and culture.
