Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Antenna Integration Engineer to ensure the antennas in our UAV platforms perform reliably in the real product, not only in isolation. In this role, you'll work across RF, electronics, mechanical, systems, and flight test to make sure antenna placement, layout, materials, and shielding are considered early and validated properly. This is a practical, integration-focused role where you'll turn RF requirements into product-level decisions that keep GNSS, C2, and telemetry links robust in flight. Antenna integration: own antenna integration topics across UAV platforms, payloads, and ground-facing hardware Placement decisions: support antenna selection, placement, and layout for GNSS, C2, telemetry, and video/data links Cross-functional translation: work with RF engineers to translate link-budget requirements into practical integration constraints Prototyping: build and iterate antenna and mechanical prototypes, including mounting mechanisms and RF test fixtures Risk identification: identify antenna-related integration risks early, including detuning, shadowing, and EMI/EMC issues Validation and measurement: plan and run antenna measurement campaigns for radiation-pattern and efficiency characterization using anechoic-chamber or OATS facilities Technical experience: you have strong hands-on experience with antenna integration, RF hardware, or embedded RF products Practical judgment: you understand antenna performance in real products, including placement, ground planes, and environmental effects Measurement skills: you're experienced measuring or debugging RF performance using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, or SDRs Hardware comfort: you're able to work close to hardware, prototypes, workshops, and imperfect early builds Communication: you can make integration trade-offs explicit and explain RF constraints to non-RF engineers Education: you hold a degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, electronics, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience that speaks louder than the diploma
