WHAT YOU'LL DO Architecture & Standards - Define a scalable approach to frontend state management across the application - Establish frontend coding standards and development patterns for the team - Set clear boundaries between UI components, business logic, state, and data fetching - Lead technical decisions on frontend architecture and explain the trade-offs behind them Build & Improve - Improve maintainability, testability, and performance of the frontend codebase - Build reusable components that raise consistency across the product - Contribute to backend services and APIs when the work calls for it Design Systems & Collaboration - Drive adoption of the design system across product surfaces - Turn Figma designs into production-ready experiences with designers - Explore AI-assisted workflows that speed up design-to-implementation handoff Team Impact - Review code to raise the frontend bar across the team - Mentor engineers on frontend architecture and best practices WHAT YOU NEED - Experience defining or significantly improving the architecture of an existing frontend codebase - Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, ideally React - Practical experience solving state-management problems at scale, spanning local, shared, server, and URL state - Experience building, integrating, or maintaining a design system - Comfortable working across the stack, including APIs, data models, and backend architecture - A track record of introducing standards or patterns that other engineers adopted NICE TO HAVES - Experience with AI-assisted development or design-to-code tools - Experience modernizing a legacy or fast-growing frontend codebase - Experience integrating Figma or a similar design tool into the development workflow - Experience in a fast-moving product or startup environment OUR VALUES At Vibe, we run on three values: Impact, Ambition, and Urgency.
