We're looking for a skilled  Pattern Shop Machinist  to join our Manufacturing team, responsible for machining high-precision patterns and carbon components that support the development and production of our race cars. What You'll Be Doing As a Pattern Shop Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up and machining patterns, jigs and carbon composite components using advanced 5-axis machining centres. Working closely with colleagues across Manufacturing and Technical departments, you'll help ensure parts are produced right first time and delivered to demanding deadlines. Key responsibilities include: Setting, operating and optimising 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres. Machining patterns, jigs and carbon components to engineering drawings and specification. Carrying out self-inspection activities to ensure quality and accuracy. Collaborating with manufacturing, inspection and technical teams to resolve machining challenges. Maintaining accurate work order and production data. Ensuring effective shift handovers and continuous workflow. Contributing ideas that improve quality, efficiency and manufacturing performance. This job description is not exhaustive, and the job holder will be required to carry out from time-to-time tasks in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within their capabilities. This role operates on a night shift, Monday to Thursday , working 18:15 to 04.45.
