As a backend engineer at Premium billing platform, you'll play a key role in designing and building scalable backend services for our subscriptions, billing, and payment systems. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies to create resilient, API-first platforms and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. In your day-to-day, you will:  • Design and build backend services for subscriptions, billing, checkout, and payment execution at scale  • Develop API-first domain models for subscriptions, orders, invoices, payment intents, and payment methods  • Create resilient distributed flows using asynchronous processing, idempotency, retries, and failure-recovery mechanisms  • Design systems that work across multiple payment providers while maintaining platform agnosticism  • Improve production reliability and observability using metrics, logs, traces, and data-driven insights  • Collaborate with Product, Payments, Data, Finance, and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions  ***  At Wix, we believe our best work happens together.
