World Relief is seeking a Media Relations Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting the Director of Media Relations by facilitating World Relief’s earned media presence, supporting external-facing writing projects and conducting relevant research and outreach. They help obtain strategic exposure for World Relief and its programs through informing and responding to the media. Primary responsibilities include staying attuned to organizational milestones, developing pitches, regularly interacting with members of the press, coordinating interviews and building a steady cadence of media placements. The Media Relations Coordinator is expected to remain updated on current events and news as they identify unique opportunities for World Relief within the news cycle. Work Location: Remote, preference for proximity to Washington, D.C Travel: 5-10%
